9/16" Black and Gold Drill Bit With 1/2" Shank Type 130-AG.
Our 1/2" reduced shank Black and Gold drill bits are a general purpose drill bit made from hi-molybdenum hardened high speed tool steel. They feature a 1/2" reduced shank with 3-flats cut into the shank for no slippage in the chuck, a 135* split point which allows the drill bit to quickly sink into hard materials acting like a pilot point so there is no need for pilot drilling, and they are 6" long. Works exceptionally well in work hardening grades of stainless steel and hardened metals and alloys. The black and gold coating provides lubricity when cutting.
